Hey,
I wanted to know what a radio delete dash looks like. I'm debating on putting one in my 72 Chevelle (there is only one thing I wanna hear when driving that!) and I just wanted to know how the dash looked when one was in place. Thanks! Beano

Now there is a fellow with his priorities in the RIGHT place! Don't know if radio delete was an "option" in '72, but am sure someone smarter than me will chime in!

Ben,
I don`t have any pics of a 70-72 radio delete plate. This pic is of a 69 Chevelle with not only radio delete, but also heater delete...way cool. I believe that all the radio delete plates look the same as appearance goes. I hope this helps. ![]() Dan.

I know the 72 Chevelle with the std./Malibu dash used a metal plate to cover the hole.If I remember correctly it has a radius bead around the plate for an edge and one stud on the reverse side. I removed one from a military 72 Chevelle wagon a few years back....I might be able to get a pic.......very rare part for 72.

The 70- 72 Chevelle SS radio delete was offered 2 ways a Stamped metal with an Embossed grain to match the dash and a plastic grained cover. The malibu plate is stmped steel with a rectangle. The The monte Carlo is also grained and covered in wood grain. I have several of these for sale. I will post some pictures, My files are too large any idea??. Jim
