Yes its by the heater box. Maybe that switch is for the cowl induction that is covering up the character which I can only guess what it is. It won't be easy to photograph but will try.

If it is a CX code, it would be for the HD 400 turbo, right??
Are you positive that it wasn't a factory auto?
Just a thought, not trying to start anything.

I now feel like a total idiot. It says B L A C K. I took a high power LED light and looked at it in detail, rubbed of some dust. They wrote out the whole word and here I thought it was a 3 letter color code. The protecto plate show JH motor (not an auto) and the color on the cowl tag is 10 B. If someone has to see a picture of the word written out, I can do that. Many appolgies.

Sounds right, we've seen the color abbreviated like Darren's, and completely written out like yours.

Post some photos of your car...if you don't mind. Sounds like a great looking car. Black is one of my favorite colors, especially on 69 Camaros.
