------Nice Z!!! I would put that car at 50ish, max. Its unfortunate that the car didnt get redone in Garnet red. Unless the camera is way, way off that red isnt even close, even if it is pretty. Therefore needs paint to be correct along with engine and trans missing and that hurts. Unless I missed it we dont know much about panel replacement either. For me the big prices (90 to 110ish) depend on just about all the stars lining up in a row.........Bill S

I'd concur with that $50K number, although for insurance, $60K isn't unreasonable. It is a red RS X-code car, and its not unthinkable that somebody would pay that, or that you might have to pay up to replace it with a similar unit. How's the level of detail? Those old Polysteel radials make me think its been done for a while, and maybe doesn't "pop" in appearance like it used to? At any rate, $50K is probably the right number. You might want to call Roger Schone, he's gathering data to price his silver car.

Hey, Tom it's funny you should say that he should talk to Roger. He and Roger are very good friends and go way back. The car does look like it was repainted a while ago since Kelly bought it this way and has had it for a number of years. Kelly and I have actually talked about digging into the Z and freshing up some of the areas that need addressing but haven't gotten into it yet. I do want to thank all of you for your opinions and I will make sure to fill Kelly in on the details. Take care and have a great weekend.

Hey, Chad how's it going? As you seen it is Kelly's car. Kelly's car has the standard black and another member of our club "Joe" had the non RS red Z/28 with black stripes and red standard interior. He unfortunantly sold the car a few years ago at car craft I believe. I talked to him a few months ago and was he ever regretting it. He said that the car has now changed hands a few times as an original drive line car which he said that it was not and didn't sell it as that. I guess everyone wants to make a quick buck. I heard that you had found a cortez silver Z/28 a while back if I remember right. Do you still have it and have you started the restoration on it? Talk to you later and have a good one.
