Default SCRX- 10 Great Years of Friends and Fun

Got home very late last night and have not yet looked at all the pics and videos posted, but wanted to take a minute to express my gratitude to the Clary family and everyone else who make these events so great. Every year it seems I come home from the reunion and swear it was the best one I've ever been to, and tell myself it can't get any better... yet each year it does. This year was no different! Its hard to believe 10 years have passed since that first SCR out in the blazing sun in 1998... I recall then thinking about how cool it was to see a row of Yenko cars all lined up in one place, and how I might never get to see something like that again. Man was I ever wrong! It still amazes me how far the show has come over the years, and how many awesome cars and people have made SCR "the" place to be each and every year. I hope everyone else had as much fun as I did, because I had a blast all weekend and can't wait to see everyone again next year. Hats off to all of you, and thanks!

I'll second that. It was great seeing everyone again, and thanks to all who make it happen. I'm already looking forward to SCR11.

I'll second everything the guys have said and include one more thing. We all enjoy these cars and the friends we've made because of the cars and this event. But I often wonder how many of us stop to think of the time, effort and expenses many of the owners incur to bring this event together. Many of the owners, including the two guys above, travel from across the country to bring these cars together for this one-of-a-kind event, and I would like to offer my sincere thanks to ALL involved for coming to our neck of the woods and making the SCR the Premier Supercar Event in the Nation.

I agree with everything that was said above, too.

"Having a blast" seems to be the quote of most people who attended.

Do you realize that participants came from Maryland, Wisconsin, Tennesee, Arizona, California and Canada to name just a few states?

To all the participants...thanks for sharing your awesome rides with all of us.

I had a blast

I'm glad you enjoyed it... I've been collecting this stuff for as long as I can remember, (well before I ever actually owned a Yenko actually) and enjoy being able to display it somewhere where folks are as "into it" as I am. (My neighbors, friends, and family around here just think I have a house full of worthless yardsale items! ) I debated boxing it all up and shipping it to Collinsville again this year, as quite honestly I really haven't added many more new items to my display since last year. After meeting so many new friends as a result of my display, I'm now glad I did it. For those of you that are SCR "regulars" like myself, I hope you didn't mind seeing the same old stuff again this year. Hopefully I can dig up some fresh finds between now and SCR11. I better get to work on that now!

Joe...Even if you have seen the collection before (as I have), you still really haven't SEEN it all. I swear I saw about 300 new things there....you could spend a day or two looking at all of it

Thanks so much for bringing for all to see

We need to keep Joe and Erik on the stage for the auction. I was sitting close enough to see his eyes. Some of the items he 'sold', he was wanting to take home himself!

Tell me about it! I'm still kicking myself that I let those Motion valve covers and emblems go...I figured it wouldn't be too cool if the auctioneer got into a bidding war from the podium. I must admit though, doing the auction is quickly becoming one of my favorite parts of the reunion... I guess I kinda like talking people out of their money.
