That is interesting. You say you've seen 810's on L72 engines? Was the 810 a 61 amp or a 37 amp? I have an original 814 with a December stamp which is just past the right date, so I would gladly trade it if someone had a mid November one. I don't understand why they had to have a special alternator for L72..

They were 61A with a large pulley. I think 2 1/4 if my old memory is right.I seen that a couple of times on 68 l-72. take care Joe |
