Nice photo, I've always tried to get one like that, but my timing has always been off.

That's really the glow from the H.E.I. system in his hotrod...you can't see the car in the dark

shot. Nelson and I were just discussing lightning shots last night. (We had some storms too!) And we saw some similar streaks; running horizontal vs. vertical.
It's dangerous and can cause some serious damage, but it's an impressive show!

It's really just luck. One of these days I will figure out how to set my camera for a really long exposure. With the amount of lightning firing off last night...it would have been cool!
