Great story Dave. Would you consider contacting Bruce so we can see all of your cars in the member's ride section? I would really appreciate seeing the Z/28. I can only imagine how great that car is based off of the quality of the cars I have seen so far.

I've seen the L78 Chevelle in person...and the pictures don't do it justice. I am glad that it is owned by such a cool "car guy"

Congrats again Dave!
I have had the pleasure of knowing Dave and trading cars with him for quite some time and he is a true ambassador to the hobby. I have seen his cars and he is a stickler for cleanliness. Does this sound familiar, Dave told me he wasn't in the market for another car because he was out of room, then he stumbles across this car and quickly justified the purchase to himself. I think he rented more storage Great car and great coverage. I need your magazine contacts

Nice. Dave keeps 3 car covers on each car in the garage. Here's a guy that still puts in 10 hour days, and a lot of it dealing with SoCal knuckle heads, and it's not uncommon for him to work in his garage til 2-3 in the morning.

Bruce,
Thanks for posting the cover and article about my 66 Chevelle SS on the site. Also thanks for the kind words from the other members who replied. I thought the editor did a great job telling about living in the Muscle Car era. You could have taken out my name, car and hometown and put in a million other guys name, their cars and their hometown that lived in that era and the story would have very similiar.
Thanks again,
Dave L.
