Congrats Pete!!
I don't mean to be nosy, but what kind of reward would be required? I ask cause if this happened to me, I have no idea what $$ would get their attention.

Really Happy to see you get the copo back Pete I know it would pretty much kill me to have that happen to mine.
I don't transport mine long distance with a pickup anymore but when I did I always pulled the starter or fuel pump relay out of the fuse box and took it with me even when I just went to eat and still worried about it.

Well, taking the fuel pump relay out has become immensely popular and it's quite easy to open the hood, rob a relay from a different station and you're back in business. Kinda like the ingenious guys that would remove their coil wire and carry it in their pocket. Well, if I want your car I just pull a plug wire, it becomes the new coil wire and I just drive your car away with a miss and only 7 cylinders. I'll fix it later. People think these cars were so hard to insure because they were so fast and dangerous but that's just not the case. They were hard and very expensive to insure because with "427" advertised on the front fender, there was a very good chance you'd be followed home one night and your car would disappear down the road before you could even finish paying it off. This is the real reason people would remove those side "Yenko" stripes. It wasn't that they couldn't get any races anymore, they simply just wanted to keep their cars!

Great news that you got the car back! But I can't believe there is this much car theft going on in those regions and nothing can be done about it.
