Kool stuff, thanks for posting.

Gene Marmor was a local stock car legend. He race at Chicago's Soldier Field when they raced stock cars there. His shop was well known for working on race cars and performance cars.

The very First NicKey Chicago shop I had opened was in Gene's former shop. I rented from him. Very interesting Character. The shop was just South of Thatcher and Grand in River Grove at 2627 Thatcher. Not far from Gene & Judes Hot Dogs.

Love to know more info too as that's the exact questions I had back in Post #120.
Whether those two the same car or not, it's doubtful the '69 L88 Nickey as Post #133 above in Chicago is the one in Cincinnati as Post #117 being both ads are 05/70?
Here's a 11/70 Reno ad for Bank Repo '70 Nova 4-Sod. w/ what sounds like an LS6.

If the 68 Chevy II in post # 132 was a real bb car to start with,
that would make it possibly less than 4 months old when the
f/s ad was placed. Wow

Great point w/ BB availability date also amazing how many must've been converted new or soon after.
No builder names but here's a few more ads w/ cars built/modified/for sale when close to new.
