Ryan, based on the pictures of the 2 seals you posted on facebook I believe you do have different size's , If you can find a part number on the seal with a Flange I can verify it for you but I really think it is an SKF/C/R # 17815 it is flanged and a smaller 2.332"od (for 2.328" bore ) Let me know If I can help any further

The one hub and drum I bought was a 1968 or early 1969 so I have the seal area turned the same as the 1969 hub so the same seal fits both sides. I can sleep tonight:-) I was worried my car would drive in circles :-) Ryan

Ryan, Glad to help out and worst case you could have put that on the side that pulls the wheel off the ground from the Monster torque and you wold have been fine !! LOL ;0

Did a little Cutlass run around after work. I dropped off my “numbers” starter for assessment. (It didn’t turn over on the bench so some work is needed) I stopped at the resto shop and dropped off caged nuts (I finally found them staring me right on my work bench:-) They have masked off the windows and started to look at the tiny repair on the cowl first. I am crazy excited:-)

There is nothing wrong with 4 wheel drum brakes....many cars had them.

Prepared my trans cross member, and dropped off two tires and two rims to get mounted....
She will be a roller soon. So far my day is my own on Saturday, brakes and possibly bring the engine home.... Ryan
