Ebay? One million? I feel a slight shill in the air. But it is still winter in Chicago.

Show me a ZL1 that looks as cool as that Cuda.....

Your right, ZL1 was a sleeper that hardly anyone other than Fred Gibbs and his circle of friends knew about. On the other hand the Hemi Cuda was the blinged out street racer of the day even though its engine was basically a boat anchor compared to the ZL-1.

They ran ads for the ZL1's back in the day, and ALL of the big magazines back in the day had lots of tech articles and road tests on them...people knew about the ZL1s...it was the *price* that was the problem, not the exposure.

I wonder how that boat anchor would do if it was blue printed and stuffed in a 3200lb. camaro?

All in fun, right?

In reality...Most of the high end musclecars just sit and look pretty these days. If I had one to sit and look at I would much rather look at the Hemi Cuda with billboard graphics. One of my favorite cars at Barrett-Jackson was the purple AAR Cuda. I could look at that car all day long. Between the three I would much rather drive the ZL1 but the those graphics on the Mopars are just killer in my book.

That's why the 68' cudas and darts were built. With headers and slicks they ran high 10's !
