You are in violation of New ad posting Rule#3. Post ONLY items that YOU own. No posting things for friends, no ebay/craigslist links to items you do not own, and if you DO link an ebay auction that you own, it must either be "no reserve", or you must reveal your reserve price.

it is an FYI for those that may not have seen them or are looking for them

until they come up with a "proper" location for these, I understand the Lounge is an "approved" area for these postings

however common sense says this area is most effective at this time ...

After the bunch of emails I got (pro and con) on this particular subject. Where is the harm in linking an auction to a rare part that may be sought after by many members and giving me no financial gain,or any other gain whatsosever.? Simply trying to help out fellow members. I FULLY agree with the other 3 rules for posting, but this one..I don't know. My .02

I agree! Important parts for many who are looking. Its just keeping the Site aware of rare parts in the need.

Perfect example of the heads up concern I'd noted in the new rules thread!.
Surely part of the goodness of this site is to help keep members informed of hard to find cars/parts that may become available?.
So is it Ok to post stuff like this in the lounge for now...and is a new forum area being created for these type of situations ?.
