Could you mean SuperCars '71.
I have an issue that fits some of those descriptions,although it's a gold 1971 SS 454 Chevelle.(presumably an LS-6 mule too)

No. Magnum Publications did put out an a issue for 70. Titled Supercars Annual 70nhalf.
