Barrett Jackson Thursday Coverage

For day tow at the Barrett Jackson Auction, I decided to do something a little different. Still took some pics, about 53 this time. But THIS time, I stood in line at GM’s Ride and Drive to drive three different GM vehicles. In order to drive any Camaro, the Grand Sport Corvette Convertible, or ride along with one of the Bondurant Drivers, you first had to drive one of GM’s more pedestrian vehicles, such as a Volt. After looking over my options, I quickly decided to drive the white CTS V coupe.

I can sum up that experience with a bold WOW! What a car! The Camaro RS Convertible I drove was nice too, and the Camaro SS I drove was lots of fun. The audience definitely participates in the drive as they are encouraging you to go sideways through the curves. I’m happy to report some of the rubber left on the parking lot was done by me. Might try Ford’s Ride and Drive tomorrow.

Maybe it's me, but most of the prices seem more reasonable this year.

I was almost shocked at how much that Viper/Challenger convertible sold for, as well as that gold LS6.
