Default Day 2 cruising songs

I thought this might be a fun thread to do. Post what you think is a good cruising song, but try to keep them in the 1970's or earlier.

I'll start with what I think is the all time best: Stranglehold

Just heard that one on 93.3 WMMR today around 11:30.

Seems like the movie Dased and Confused would be a good reference here. I think that was set about 1973.

Yeah. I'm laid up in bed right now with a pulled back muscle, watching Dazed and Confused.
It pee's me off everytime I hear Matthew Mcconaughey say "watch the leather" as the guy gets in the Chevelle.

If I remember correctly the senior class in that movie was the class of 1977...Dazed and Confused = Best Ever

"...that's what I like about high school girls: I get older and they stay the same...." [not sure if that exact, but close enough]. Hilarious.

This was a good song to listen to while driving to the next town looking for the race scene...smoked up of course.
