Out of nowhere, a lady saw the article in Hemmings Muscle Machines and contacted me thru HMM about being the God daughter of the original owner of my car (I am 3rd owner). She sent this photo from 1971 or so and gave me lots of info about him (thats his wife with the helmit). Just Fantastic. I have never be able to locate him, now I know that he had died before I bought the car. Same car, same paint, 40 years ago. Good to know the springs have not sagged at all after all these years:

I still have the mirrors in boxes. Mud flaps were on when I got the car. Really kept the paint nice. Original photo shows the 3M white stripe down the doors. That protected the sides from any dings. When I bought the car, only some was left so I removed them both.
