These rarely come up for sale and if they do they are the wrong size, funky offbrand shape or made of plastic. Not sure of the brand of this scoop but I posted a pic of it behind my A&A that is on my Mustang..it is near identical (The A&A decal is still under my scoop)
Scoop is 7" tall, 15 3/4 wide at the base at front(not counting flange) and 30" long (not counting front flange) and 33" long with the rear overhang. This one was never molded on so the flange are strong and not ground down. Few hairline cracks here and there around the screw holes. $300 + shipping-I did a preliminary shipping to a couple of zip codes and it came to approx $28-$35.00.. |

Curious, how would you get a scoop like that to fit over the center ridge on a hood, would you have to cut a groove in each end?

Yes, you would cut a grove in the front of the scoop and mold it to your hood shape. The back is open so no groove required. |

To be a "GRump Lump", shouldn't that scoop have an opening at the bottom on the front????

That's what I was thinking? What is the height of the opening on yours? If you don't mind me asking?

![]() 4K's '67 above is just plain nasty...the good kind! Weren't the holes added/cut to suit also note the A&A ad below w/ Grump Lump available in two sizes. Looks like Whitetop's are both the taller (and cooler) Maxi style? ~ Pete ![]()

The scoop on my Mustang is an A&A, no front opening-A&A business card/decal still glassed in underneath. I have seen them both ways..I think the opening in the front may have been the bolt on?? Grump lump is/was a generic term anyway.. |

Geez,
Its a Fiberglass Scoop.... optional mail slot... some were cut open , some weren't. Grumpy's first lump was rear opening, after testing he cut it open for forced air. This is a true rendition of a Grumpy Lump in size and effect. I have a Moroso lift off hood with the Mopar/Sox & Martin inspired tall scoop..... wish I had the Grumpy Lump!! This is a for sale forum by "members" ....one time a year ago I commented on a set off wheel center caps and the fan base lambasted me for it,,,,,I thought the program here in the classifieds was to play nice and respect a members ad ..... Comments & opinions should be opened in another part of our forum, such as we do when we comment on eBay & Craig's list ads
