Can someone point me in the direction on where to find more information on exhaust notes/tones? I want to learn more about, for instance, why a 302 SBC sounds different than a 302 SBF.
I imagine it has to do with the cam (valve timing), compression, type of exhaust manifold and system, etc. But how does a Ferrari sound so much different than a Jaguar? Do engineers spend time trying to make a car sound a certain way? If so, how? Thanks in advance. Nick |
