Rough Black-on-Parchment '69 SS396 Chevelle
I emailed the seller half-curious whether this one could be a COPO...he had it listed as a Malibu, and it had the 12 bolt and large fuel line so I figured what the heck (it's right in the middle of the COPO VIN range). Turns out it's a black on parchment SS396 judging by the trim tag pic he just posted. Still a desirable car, and still going cheap.
Can you imagine how gorgeous this one would have looked when new?? By the way, I have no idea what's up with the pics he posted - the background looks to be intentionally obscured. Very weird. Link to 1969 Chevelle SS396
