Default '65 L-79 Beaumont

Neat car, one of a handful built, and obviously has all the GM of Canada docs proving it was ordered with the 350hp 327 as well as metallic brakes and limited-slip diff. Cool car that I remember being sold out of Ontario around 2002-2003. At the time I believe the asking price was $4000 in unrestored condition....

I've seen that car. It is a very nice rare car. When I saw it it had a Kleenex holder mounted below the glove box.

Why would you swap interior and repaint the car if I've not gone stupid in reading the Can doc..

Think you're right Darrell, was originally red with white interior, now white with red interior

Unless it was a flub on the printout? But I see red on that trim tag.

This rare Acadian was part of the MCACN L79 Invitational in 2015. As I recall the Canadian couple that owned the white car at that time also owned the red L79 Acadian on the right.

In addition to flip-flopping the colors, firewall and trunk on Canadian cars are body color, red in this case as evidenced by the trace red on the TT. Personally, those details are part of the cool factor on these cars that should have been retained. - Bill W

I just read the wording in the eBay auction, and it says the car was originally red with white interior but was changed to the current livery when restored.
