Default baldwin motion ID.

i have located what i believe to be a 67 baldwin motion camaro. i talked to joel rosen and he was very reluctant to give me any information on how to identify it. if anyone knows what to look for please help. heres what i found so far...this guy got the car as a graduation present in about 1980. it has a fiberglass cowl hood, 427, rs headlights, disc brakes, 4 speed, aluminum rear end cover. he had the car repainted in about 1983 or 84, and never finished putting it back together (it is very close though)all he would say is that its a rare car, and that it was all original...any ideas on what else to look for?

I am not as familiar w/67 BM cars, but a few things to look for might be axle tubes welded to the center section, spring perches re-welded. Dual electric fuel pumps. These were soome of the Phase III mods that might still be there. Of course if you are pretty confident, send Joel $1,500 and he'll give you an answer. I'm sure some others can add additional items to look for. Let us know what you find.

I would say you need to go to Las Vegas and bet on something. You find a 67 BM car and you find a ZL1 engine ?

Either Vegas, or start buying lots of lottery tickets and split the winnings w/your fellow BB users.

As a start, get the VIN and trim tag #'s and post them. Also the code from the engine stamp pad.
That will help narrow it down.

A lot of people put 427's in a Camaro....

Congrats at the casino winnings....
