Talk about irony...

I ran across the ad for the FAST vs STLM thing on, of all places, a Mustang site just the other day, and was gonna email and see if there were any spots left. I've still got to check and see what we have going that weekend, and I'd like to make sure we have the new "bullet" back in the car by then, but I could *possibly* swing 2 cars ('69 Yenko Camaro and a buddies '02 SS that runs mid 12s on stickies). Hopefully I'll know more towards the end of the week...

Rob I am supprised that stickies would drop the car that little. Is it a 6 speed? Any other mods?

Ummm, typical free mods (short belt, lid, etc.), 4.10s, all SLP options, and a good set of M&H tires...oh, and he leaves off the REV LIMITER. He's got 32 passes on the stickies, and his rear, clutch, and tranny are taking a beating, and are staring to "complain". That's all the mods that I know of, but we have a small rivalry, so it wouldn't surprise me if he had a trick or 2 up his sleave. But, no headers or anything obvious. He ran a 12.49 one night, but our times are usually fairly close, as the car isn't that consistent (M6). His short times are usually in the 1.7s, but I pull him on the big end. Not too shabby for a new car...
