Default 72 scuncio nova SS

About 3 years ago i did a repaint on a nova that a friend had, we were both looking at the car to buy at the same time i backed off and let him have the deal, during the repaint he brings over all the scuncio paper work from the car which really suprised me because when i first looked at the car it had current New Mexico plates not knowing it was from RI to begin with, it was a small block automatic on the column with aftermarket add ons it had the sales contract from scuncio and many other invoices now the car might be available to me. Being a 72 Nova is it a trojan horse? or should i grab the deal?

Dennis,
I don't think the fact that it is a 72 Nova would hurt the value since Nova had the same body style 68-72. If it was built as a hot rod by Scuncio when it was new then it has some supercar history. I would need more info about the condition and what the docs say to guess at a price but I would be interested if you don't go for it.

At least the Porsche is a front-engined aluminum block V-8, not one of those goofy VW rear-engined thingamabobs...

yea its a aluminum v8 with a stick but its still boring to drive even at 150 mph it seems like 65 mph its "to" predictable handles like its on rails, at least the nova will hang 10 around a corner it might get tense for a few seconds ( you know swetty palms white nuckels and a brown stain in the underware)but that is what the muscle car is all about
