tail panel color b/motion camaro

what is the correct color on the baldwin motion stripe on the deck lid to tail panel on 70-73 camaros.i've seen the tail panels either body color or the same color as the stripe.was the way the tail panel painted per the customers request or joel trying to be different between cars he built.
