I was talking to a friend last night who was telling me about a very early 1969 Z-28 that was a proto type he once heard about. The car was gold with white interior had no trim tag and if he remembers right it had a serial number under 500010 It sounded very interesting as it seemed it used some 1968 parts on it since it was not only the proto type 69 Z but also one of the first 69 Camaros. Does any body else remember this car or heard any stories about it.

True. It is in the Chicago area VIN N500003. I'm not sure the owner cares to br revealed.

I actually have seen the car I am just wondering about the history on the car. Was it used for Auto shows or promotions or was it just a well kept secret not shown to the public and eventually sold as just another Z28.

I was told today that in the 1969 at the Detroit Auto Show there was a 69 Gold Z28 Camaro with white interior. Does anybody else remember that or have any pictures of that Auto show. Thanks
