Default Gas prices

Guys, I just heard that there's a pretty good chance that gas prices will be going up 23 cents per gallon today, for regular unleaded. Time to fill up those cars with gas.

Oil prices have just fallen and OPEC said that they will increase production by 500,000 barrels per day and authorize doubling that in the 2nd quarter to an additional 1,000,000 barrels per day.

Something has to be done. Diesel is currently at $2.75/gallon here.

I hear that, Mr T...the big push the last few years has been to spend the extra money and opt for the diesel engine in your truck, and thusly be rewarded with cheaper fuel cost and longevity...well, I can't speak for the longevity issue yet, but I'm feeling RAPED on this fuel price savings!

Any of you folks that work at dealerships having a hard time moving the diesel rigs now?

you got that right...it is catching up with us across the board..I think about 80% of our goods cross the country by truck and they are passing on the costs with all the things we buy...my last shipment of product almost doubled in cost on shipping..not to mention how much stuff we consume that is made with petroleum products...pass me a beer I have a headache....

I had a friend that attended the nsca event at No Problem Race Track In Louisiana and there were some guys that brought there cars over from England to compete. They were talking and gas there is $9.00 per gallon and racing fuel is $30.00.Read the post on www.Dragstripaction.com They have a bunch of pictures posted as well and a few videos. The people that own and run the site are good friends of mine. There is even a picture of old reliable it was there competing also.I know gas and diesel is getting outrageous but I really feel for those folks in England if it is that expensive.Damned if I wouldn't get a horse and park the old hoopty for awhile!

The consumer is at the bottom of the totem pole to get the results of a trickle down effect of a proposed decrease in oil commodities....
