Default Old Ramp Trucks

Hello,
Well....This is a goofy topic for sure!!!! I was just looking at this old ramp truck on ebay and it reminded me of trucks I use to see at the dragstrip back in the 70s. If you had one of these, you were a serious drag racer. I just drove there....opened headers and changed tires. Nothing like laying on your back in the dirt!!!!! Anyway, are all the ramp trucks gone??? Guess they were replaced by rollbacks and trailers???

Thanks-------

I asked the seller what was in it. Here is his reply

I'll have to admit that I'm not sure which engine it has. This is my only truck -- so I can only tell you that it looks big. (Thak that with a grain of salt -- I've got a Crosley and a Berkeley -- anything looks big.)

That second one is very cool!

I would paint it a period correct color... like a dark blue or beige color, slap on the NHRA and drag racing decals and haul my car all over. Really cool!
