So...For a solid 1 1/2 years I'm out looking for a 1970 Z/28 and finally found a good one this summer.
Well, last night I go out for a walk with my daughther which is not unusual except that instead of walking west we go east. My neighborhood runs around a golf course so my rear nieghbors are a long way aways and we never go over that way...to the east. So we walk a few blocks and are now RIGHT behind my house when I look into a garage and what do I see..A 1970 z/28 along with 2 vettes, a pickup hot rod and a Trans Am. Turns out the guys owned the z for 15-20 years and wants to sell it. His Vettes are incredible. I guess he's big into the NCRS(sp?) and his 69 427 vert is his prize jewel. Kind of struck me funny that I've looked at Z's from coast to coast and all the time there was a fairly decent one right in my backyard practically. Makes you wonder. ![]() ![]()
