Default Insurance on the Race Track

Hello Everyone,

I'm currious to know how those of you who still run their cars on the track insure your cars.

I like to run my "mundane" '69 RS/SS 396 on the track occattionally, but my insurance company will not cover damage occuring on the track. With the value of all muscle cars skyrocketing, I would never be able to replace my car if the worst happened without insurance coverage.

Do you guys who run at the Reunions just accept this fact, or have you found a company that will insure a historic drag car - regardless where the damage happens?

I have found a company that will insure my car on the track, but not on the street. Unfortunately, my current provider (American Family) will drop my pollicy if I insusure with someone else as a "race car". Once you mension racing they freak.

Any advice would be appreciated.

Thanks!

Keith
