Rick and I went to the sale this morning. Here's some more pics. The car sold for 93k all in.

They had a copy of the original Indiana title the original Arizona title a copy of the build sheet that was handwritten and the current title.



The original owner was still alive and present at the auction and thought the car was worth 125 K which apparently in 2006 is what he was offered....

I think a few things aligned on why it went even more than I thought too. If they made close to 400 or so hemi GTXs, very few (in my opinion) are in a very desirable color like this one. Color does matter in value. Lets say that narrows the field to 100-150 cars produced. Then add in it's a survivor with original engine, no mysteries. That likely narrows the good color cars down to maybe 10% (or 10-15 cars on the planet). So I would guess, everything lined up for atleast 2 collectors, to try to compete for this rare car. They did the math on the odds you will NOT find another like it any time soon.

Wow $93K is big money for that car IMO. Great car, with docs, and original engine but seems to be high. I love the B body cars from 68 - 70 very cool, with outrageous lines, especially the Charger. I agree good for us. I hope prices keep climbing.
