I came back from the NCRS Regional with more than just a ribbon
Sooooooo, I have been having fits since the sale of the green 67 coupe that I had (not my Dad's car). I've offered up the anology that..... I'm like a child with out a blanket, if I do not have a midyear Corvette in my posession. That having been said, I zero'd in on this 67 roadster that earned a Top Flight award at the Rochester, MN Regional.
I dont have much for pics at the moment, but here is the rundown. 427-390hp M21 4 speed 3.70 positraction AM/FM radio Transistorized Ignition Side exhaust White wall tires Marina blue, blue vinyl interior. POP and tank sticker, on top of title copies, complete owner history with no gaps, correspondence between owners, and many miscellaneous reciepts / paperwork. All original body panels, bonding strips, and about 65% original paint. 45k documented miles. Luckily, all of the previous owners saved any of the removed parts when service was needed. I have the original fan clutch, water pump, fuel pump, single crimp brake hoses, wiper blades, T3's, spark plug wires, radiator hoses, etc. There are a few smalls that are needed, but not much. I rebuilt the carb this week after getting it home, as it REALLY ran like crap. After that, it now runs like a swiss watch. I am going to do a brake job this coming week and drive it for the rest of the summer. Over the winter, I'll get into some deep cleaning and light detailing. The car has the right amount of patina, that Tracey and I can use the car without reservation. Here is what I have for pics at the moment........ |

You dog, I was drooling over that one at the show. Those Blue on Blue mid-years grab my attention too.
