Was this car ever confirmed to be a COPO Orr Yenko?

X66 car. Too late for an X66 Yenko. 5500 redline tach. Ran SS/E which fits for 396/325 hp I think.
I have an L35 block less than 400 cars from the car posted. Possibly from the same dealer but I have not checked. |

Probably not. Common paint scheme back then. Too much orange and not enough white in my opinion.

Griffith Bros 68 Camaro Super Stock
I was friends with Roland & Ray Griffith for many years.....Roland ordered this
L78 68 Camaro from University Chev in Seattle. For a while Roland drove this car street and it was also street raced. I remember Aluminum Heads were added and a different factory cam (L88 ??).....This Camaro was a NHRA Natl Record in SS/D. Also was raced at NHRA Winternationals and Div 6 Races.....Scott Griffith (Ray's son) owns this LOW Milage Car Today.
