I've looked all the way down Griffin until it turns to heavy woods, mile north and south with no luck. But it's very hard when there is so much development, could have easily missed it.

Steve, your overhead pic is a little too far west of where the track was, I believe. I thought the address was in the 16000 block of Hollywood Blvd., and that's just a wild hair guess. That whole area is vastly different than even 10 years ago, much less 30 years ago. My memory has it that the track opened in 1965ish...

There must be absolutely nothing left!!! I was hoping to find some evidence of where it was; partial concrete or something, but it's house after house surround by waterways. What a shame. Thanks for trying. |
