Strongly suggest pulling the intake on that Chevelle and look for evidence of critters in the valley area before you hit they key to try it. Maybe even go through the entire engine and check out any and everything.
Friend here paid major bucks for one of Bergers original Z28's that was in the middle of complete resto a few years back. Don't know what possessed him to pull that intake, but was sick when he found the chipmunk Hilton in there. Fresh rebuild on a very big$$ car. Needless to say he was sick about it. Then a racoon got inside it while up on the hoist. Not sure what that did.

Saddening pictures of a 1970 GTO convertible.
I have know of this car for 10+ years. Nothing has been done other than rotting away. The woman said her dad bought it for her when she was 15 and she is now 40. Her dad has since passed away and she can't bring herself to sell it. It is Cardinal Red, white top, black cloth bench seat interior, column shift, power windows, standard 400 4bbl auto. Does not run. The front valance is beat up from when it last ran then broke down. The tow truck driver hooked to the frame through the valance grills.

   Old air shocks and the rear was still in it but I couldn't tell what it was.   This one still had a trim tag   Tommy
