69 SS427 Impala convertible
For Sale; 1969 SS427 Impala convertible. More or less complete car except engine and transmission. Original SS 427/390 Turbo 400 car. LeMans Blue, white parchment interior, white top, floor shift console car. Needs full restoration but this is likely one of the most solid 69 Impala convertible bodies around. No rust on body but has a small crease on the passenger rear quarter and several minor dings were repaired in the 70's. Bodywork was started back then and never completed. Comes with extra set of mint front fenders. Original A/C, power window, power door lock car. Frame, floors and body are mint and very solid. Mileage was around 56,000 when purchased from California and stored in 1981. Prior to that the car was drag raced in Southern California. Car has clear title and original VIN and cowl tags. Most everything comes with the car sans the engine and trans but everything is in boxes. I am asking $10k or best SERIOUS offer and one that comes soon. I can put you in touch with at least two of the previous owners one of which had the car in the early 70’s and was the one who raced it. Please e-mail, PM or call only. Rick 612-578-4007. See my profile for e-mail.

3 words.... California Car Duster.
Seriously though, that car has a ton of potential and would be bad ass when done right.

[ QUOTE ]
3 words.... California Car Duster. [/ QUOTE ] Yeah I know. I went to my storage building for something else today and was reminded I needed to move the car so I have nothing to clean it with. It does have a ton of potential as it is a very solid car inside and out. I just need to focus on more important things right now. I will have gone from 3 SS427 Impalas to none in a very short time....... Darren, the headlights are currently hidden (LOL) but no it was not a hidden headlight car. From what I know, they were not available on an Impala and certainly not an SS car though I do have the complete set up (sans the HH core support) that will go with the car.

Price reduced to $7500 for immediate sale as the car must go soon! Pictured wheels and tires do not go with the car.

Re: 69 SS427 Impala convertible
Yes, it was sold to a local bodyshop owner and Chevelle enthusiast. I am pretty sure it will just get a quickie resto and sent down the road. I just did not have the room or the time to keep the car and it had to go.

Re: 69 SS427 Impala convertible
Rick,
Do you happen to still have the tag numbers for this car? I'd like to put it in the database. Steve
