Doesn’t dirt fall into the cracks on that floor?

Yes it does. Not sure how much work @zedder does on his but I do a little and it’s easily vacuumed up. In addition I put a black felt liner under mine to reduce “clicking” sound give it a darker look.

Yes, once every year or two, we unzip it into 2 or 3 pieces and clean underneath. Takescabout 1 hour.

I went with the solid race deck, it’s real easy to clean, after my cars @nd coffee, I ran a wet pad swiffer on it, done. One thing, I wouldn’t use Again is black tiles, maybe cause 2 cars are parked on it and it can’t move, but when I had the big garage door open, the sun was on the black border anD it heaved in 2 spots. Went back down after I shut the door.

I originally had the regular race deck and noticed that during the winter the water that got underneath took weeks to dry up. I don’t want Mold in the garage, so I switched the tiles to the free flow ones and the water is gone in a day or two. I use regular tiles around the perimeter to hold things together.
Any rubber tile that doesn’t allow for air flow is prone to mold if the slab gets damp. If you choose rubber, check every once and a while to make sure that moisture isn’t a problem. A guy posted pics of his rubber mat floor from Costco and it was absolutely covered in mold.

My Son has something similar to those in his gym and they are pretty nice. These ones smell really bad for about 3 months, but it is ok now. I think they will crush down a little under your tires, but they do bounce back.

Before we parked our daily drivers in the garage during the winter, I had regular race deck. If I had a ‘toy only’ garage, I would use that as it looks a little nicer and washers and screws can’t fall into the spaces like they do on the free flow tiles.

Gotcha. Ya, mine is kept at least 65°.
I think I’ll replace the black 2rows at the doors. With the same platinum. |
