I had an 86 Monte SS low mileage stocker and I got it to run 14.6 at 97 with just a set of roller rockers, a chip, mufflers and a posi. Not too slow..

I had the last of the LT1 motors - had a brand new 1997 Z-28 6 speed. The only thing I did to the car was install a flow master cat back and SLP air induction. Car ran 13.99 1/4. Not bad for a 285hp hunk of steel.

Unfortunately I still have to see the car to this day - my ex-wife took it from me in the divorce and she still has it.

You gotta love the ex-wife.
Mine sold a 10 year collection of '69 Camaro parts, while she was living in our house and I was living in my mother's basement, waiting for the separation agreement to be finalized.
