The car was very rare in the sense that it was a 351 Shaker Hood car.

Looks like a Ford Jubilee tractor maybe ?? Olered...the owner/driver was Larry Swiatek out of River Grove/Chicago...it was one of the first all glas GTO Funny Cars....Don Gay and Arnie had them too...but this one was radically alteredwwheelbase..it ran an injected 421 to start with...some of the pioneers of funny car building were involved with the building of it...TJS44 has probably heard of Swiatek...he ran a Swiss cheese Catalina. the former Pete Seaton car as the Gray Ghost early on...some cool pics in MCCarthy's book too..he also owned 1 of 3 SD Grand Prix's built in 63...390 H.P. 4 bbl SD car with steel front end according to Petes book.

Just found a couple more.
I also found this car in Plainfield, IL while I stopped at a yard sale at an old farm house. It had a couple of garages and one was half opened so I was able to see this. The owner was a mean looking biker that would have scared most who looked at him but was very happy to talk about the car. It is a 1970 Challenger R/T that the owner said that he got in about 1985. He said the car was originally yellow with a 4 speed before he repainted it, swapped the tranny, and replaced the motor. Next to the car he had the original 340 on an engine stand all rebuilt like 15 years ago that he never touched. There was also a rack of cool old Mopar wheels and tires. I thought I might have had a shot to buy the car but after some time he backed out and wanted to keep it. He actually refered to the car as a "collectors item". ![]()
