I would think the flywheel was resurfaced already, then never used, from what I see.
Probably just clean off the surface rust.

The bearing is better in my experience
Take the snap ring out the the bearing
Get the number off of the bearing
Hopefully you can get a replacement....

I will look into this, what is a positive of the bearing lower friction, longer lasting, able to handle more radial force?
