I like your plate. The first time that I went to a car show with my new plate, IBOTNEW, a lady comes up to me and said "That's not how you spell Bought!"
I just figured that she was kidding until she continued do stare at me waiting on a response. I finally told her she was right and I went back and sat down in my lawn chair.

I've run into a few people like that...LOL

Yes over the years I've run into some real dandys. Like the lamos (is that a word) than demanded that I come clean on the stripes. Or the know it all that continues to ask what engine is in the car after I just told them it's a bone stock Z/28. Why didn't you keep the black grill in the car? Why did you add bumper guards on the rear but not the front? Why would you go to all of the trouble of installing a Hurst and not put in the Competition Plus? Or the best one is "What did you do with the bubble hood?" or "I know for a fact that all '69 Zs came with spoilers!" I tell those guys, you know, you're absolutely right, and walk away. I'm really a nice guy so don't judge me until we meet in Chicago.

I had a similar incident when I first put on the license plate 2-RARE. I had some Beevis walk up and ask me what a Two-Rari is?

I told him it was half of a Ferrari and walked away. I think the guy is still standing there in that field scratching his head.

Guys I'm still looking for:

Cortez Silver
Glacier Blue
and the "needle in the haystack" Champange.

Geez I kinda thought the Glacier Blue might be tough (although I love the color) but Cortez Silver? Wasn't that a popular color on Zs? Maybe someone will pop up with a Silver/Red gut/Red stripe version!

How does one go about finding these cars? Is there a list of local Camaro Clubs across America that we could contact and ask if the needed cars are there? Is there a national registry? I don't have a clue but I would be willing to help.
