Over the last couple of days, I've been putting together bolts & items that require phosphate coating. I put them on this cardboard so when I'm done with the process, they can go back to the board....Joe

Also got the exhaust pipes back today. The color should be a little darker but they came out nice. Their next color was almost black. Never separated them from the kick over pipes. If they fell apart, that would've been a different story...Joe

I haven't posted much on the 1969 Camaro restore lately. Been doing little things like restoring bolts & exhaust. Today I was able to re-install all the exhaust system, leave springs & the rearend. It's amazing what you can get done in a few hours if you have all your ducks in a row...Joe

Looking good buddy.

Now slow down a bit so I have a chance of catching up with you. I need about 3/4 weeks or so and then we be game on. I think I am starting to gather a good sense of the frustration people go through trying to do these yellow interiors. (Ugggh)

Cars looking really good Joe.

I got wheels & tires back today. I chose white line Goodyears because that's what was with the car when I bought it in 1981. I also chose the polyglas tire because of the late build of my car. Previously I didn't care for the XT wheel without trim ring with the Daytona yellow color. Now I might like it, maybe because the white line adds to the look. Red/white lined or white walled tires were very popular in 1969. Nearly 1/2 the 1969 Camaros built came with this feature

Looks great. Personally I prefer the look without the trim ring

Looks great, Joe. I like the looks of the white stripe tire and the dog dish cap. The car is coming along nicely.

Made some more progress today. I sprayed the trunk area this morning. After lunch, it was dry enough to put the back end together.

Thank you for everyone's thoughts on the wheels. For now I will leave the trim rings off...Joe
