Well, it does have a tarp and it is in the right area...could be the same car. I think it DOES still have the engine in it by the way it is sitting. Maybe someone needs to go over there and try to get a look at it (the owners of the property have never been very friendly). It may be time to find out who owns the property to see how old the owners are. Might be worth waiting for if only for the drivetrain.

Story of a 1969 RS/SS Camaro about 4 miles from my house. This car is somewhat of a local legend in my area. Although we have never seen it on the street it has sat in the same garage forever. The story is that a guy bought new in '69 when he came home from Vietnam. He died about 2 years after he got home and the car has not moved out of his brother's garage since. The best part of this rumor is that people say that the car was originally a convertible, however, after the guy bought the car he wanted a hardtop and converted it!!! I know the car exists, but do not know how true that part of the story is. The car is Cortez Silver w/ black vinyl top w/ black hockey stick stripe.

Yeah, like $35,000 worth of spare dough. Gone are the days when you could have picked up a Day 2 driver '59 Vette like this one for under ten grand--or under five grand.
