1969 Chevelle SS 396 / 325 block.
I have a 1969 Chevelle SS 396 / 325 HP with 4 speed bare block and thought it would be good to post the data here in case the car still exists. Feel free to share this information anywhere that may be helpful to others. It's a Fremont built car that is stamped 119z348164 and T0418JA. Casting 3955272 with date code C 27 9 for reference. I believe this would be 136379Z348164 for a coupe and 136679Z348164 for a convertible? Being a local (to me) built car, it may still be around here... The block is clean and mag'd good and is only .030 over bore (with some wear), so I'm not sure why it didn't stay with the car?

If Original Stampings, it’s from a ‘69 Copo 9561 L72 Stick. Car may exist whether known or unknown, best Google whole VIN w/ last 6 added to 124379N before sharing #’s. If unknown, you need to find it and NCRS Delivering Dealer Service a good start… https://www.chevymuscledocs.com/ If car known and Engine you have its Genuine Original, they belong together if a fair value can be agreed upon without hostage $ added as this recent two part thread… https://www.yenko.net/forum/showthread.php?t=172659 https://yenko.net/forum/showthread.php?t=172737 Hope it’s a Genuine Original, best of luck to all! ~ Pete .
