I've been following this thread for quite a while. Thanks to everyone who has posted! Figured it was time for me to share one from my family history.



Here's my Mom's brand new 71 Satellite next to the 64 Fairlane it replaced. That's my Dad's 68 Dodge A-108 in the background. According to the August 1971 date, this would have been right around the time frame I was conceived. [img]<<GRAEMLIN_URL>>/wink.gif[/img]

Also, found this video recently. Looks to be filmed possibly in the fall of 1959 (based on the load of brand new 1960 Caddies seen). Really a cool period film, produced by the Iowa DOT.

I remember traveling as a kid from NY down to NC every summer and Christmas to visit relatives and that's the way it was - two lane roads, getting stuck on the hills behind the semi's and endless town after town!
A real shot of Americana!
