![]() ![]() Ryan, do you know anything about that grabber blue Shelby? Back in 1969 my parents purchased a grabber blue / white GT500 like the one pictured (if it is a GT500). I have always wondered what happened to the car after they traded it in after 6-8 months of ownership. Most grabber blue Shelbys I see have black interior which is why this one has caught my eye. |

This is a 70 Shelby GT500 that has spent most of its life in Northern Illinois. Been sitting for atleast 20 years.

The November issue of Hot Rod Magazine has the article on the Shelby. The edited out the 65 SS Impala and Cougar XR-7 R-Code Car... but still!
Wait til you guys see what I shot 2 weeks ago.... more rare then a Shelby and the Daytona!

A total of 578 Vixen motorhomes of three different types were built: the Vixen 21 TD (1986–1987), Vixen 21 SE (1988–1989), and Vixen 21 XC (1986–1987). Oftentimes noted as the "Driver's RV", it has a very low center of gravity and a very wide stance. Instead of lumbering down the highway, it had a manual transmission and when the turbo kicked in it zoomed down the highway. It would drive as fast as 100 MPH, and still average about 30 MPG using a BMW M21 turbo-diesel engine. Wind tunnel testing was used to create a completely smooth fiberglass exterior top and bottom.</span></span>
