Re: 1969 Chevelle SS L89 Convertible
That's okay...Bruce is about ready to KILL Cox Cable...as they can't seem to get his high speed internet to be high speed at all.
I'm lucky to be able to get on the net at home... Anyone want to pay them a visit at their corporate headquaters in Atlanta for me? It's at 6205 Peachtree Dunwoody Road... It's all yours Dan!

Re: 1969 Chevelle SS L89 Convertible
I saw where the car was located .. saw the photo and recognized it. I was just in the home where the car lives. I know Charley will recognize the sellers name. I would assume if this seller restored the car it was done by Mark Shwartz at Campbell Auto Restorations.

Re: 1969 Chevelle SS L89 Convertible
[ QUOTE ]
Thats my old car that I bought it from the original owner hense the Delaware license plate. Its 100% real. The head on one side was changed under warranty. It was the son of the dealerships demo for the spring and summer of 69. I'm not pleased with the resto as they overdid alot of markings and it sits 4 wheel drive , but a very nice car. It was sold at Mecum last fall. I sold it to pursue the Red L-89 4spd conv thats now at Supercar being done. Jim [/ QUOTE ] What kind off shape was it before thr resto? Did it need to be restored? |

Re: 1969 Chevelle SS L89 Convertible
I thought that was the car that Thornton restored. Saw it in there many times, for a couple years. I think they first tried to sell it at Atlantic City a couple years back. All those guys talked about was how real this car was. I also think if I remember correctly most of the parts are either NOS or original. Nice car either way in my opinion.

It looks nice but seems to be sitting a bit high all around.
