That is CRAZY! Does anybody on this site believe this Engine "Assembly" was worth $50,000.00? Or is it just me being me? Bill

It is one of the coolest engines of all time in my opinion. That’s a lot of dough but it’s a lot of engine.

I have one just like the first and second, but without the Yenko (spelled) stamp. I won't bother to go into info as nobody ever seems to want to get into the history of these on this board. But I will tell you one thing, that run of blocks have a nasty surprise that took me eight grand to fix. I'll leave it at that.

50k???? Is that a real bid?? There is an early dated real 69 block for low 20’s for sale now on FB.
I think the coolest ZL-1 blocks made were the blocks like the one I bought from the late Al M. that had the Yenko crest cast right in front. But all ZL-1 blocks are cool…( but not 50k cool !) |

I had a chance a few years ago to buy a ZL1 for $6000. It had been blown up a few times and had a lot of damage. The block had been filled with hard block and the heads were also filled. It was in a mini pulling tractor with fuel injection running on alcohol. It was probably worth it, and it's still there, but I just couldn't spend the money on it.
