First two pics are Craig Fisher's Trans-Am Series Black Panther, B&W shot looks like it may be @ Mosport? Last one appears to be the same car @ a US Stock Car track w/ Pure sign in the background...location/event/Fisher? ~ Pete ,

The first picture is of Craig Fisher's car at Sebring for tech inspection, March 1967.
The last picture is of the same car at Daytona practicing prior to the Daytona 24 Hour race, early February 1967. The middle picture was taken in the UK in 1969. This was Craig Fisher's Z-28 and was used by him as a street car prior to him selling it to a racer from England. This car had a black interior and the other Z-28 seen in the other two photos had a gold interior. Note there is no roll bar in the car shown in England. Evidently the rules over there allowed you to race without one. |

Great info Jon and thanks for the update! I noticed the similarities/differences and thought the first two shots may be different cars also Daytona car the same one as the color pic...inboard/outboard hood pins the easiest difference to spot also a few other details. Thanks too for clarifying it's Craig Fisher in all the pics, is it known if either of these two cars exists today? Such cool cars and history! ~ Pete .

The picture from 1969 in the UK does not have Craig Fisher behind the wheel, it is Craig Fisher's former street car. He sold it, after owning it for a few months, to a racer from England. It is not known if that car still exists but the other one from Daytona & Sebring still does.

I believe we talked about this car in this thread:
https://www.yenko.net/forum/showthread.php?t=154023 Post #20 Zedder said "I hope they can hit it big after believing for the past 20 years that the car is worth $250K" So this car was discussed in March of this year. I posted some MECUM "deals" I thought on the bottom of page 3. 4 NICE and sought after cars, nothing was over $57,200.00 US Wish them well and hope they get a good result.

Sorry Zedder with the results. I also didn't think it would bring as much as it did either. I was about 10K low. Too bad you couldn't have gotten it before the auction.
