Exactly. That happened about 45 minutes from where I live, and every body of water around this area potentially has gators in it. You really need to treat every pond, lake or canal as having gators because they're there, even if you don't see them.

That or they were both street racing and the guy in the Challenger ran out of talent at that curve in the road.
