Brian, the "phantom blue" thing has been a long standing joke with our group of friends.. I have a very good friend that always says that and like you said, when I try to correct him he gets mad at me.... So its a big joke.. We call my friend's 70 the "phantom of the opera Chevelle" Its funny how people really think that is the name of the color..
Rick, yeah my friend does have 70 Ohio YM 396 plates and mine are MY 396... His are real too.. Thats a neat Chevelle, it has a parchment interior which you don't see on cranberry red cars too much.... Rich
